The goal of Golden Hill’s Orthopedic Rehabilitation Program is for our residents to return home ready to resume an active, productive lifestyle following an orthopedic injury or surgery.

Within our safe, secure and structured environment, Golden Hill provides residents with the resources necessary to make a rapid recovery. Therapy programs are tailor-made for each resident's unique needs, capabilities and schedule. Evaluation sessions take place regularly, ensuring that recovery is underway and steady progress is being made.

The philosophy of our Orthopedic Program is that success, and ultimately complete healing, can best be achieved through an interdisciplinary team approach.

Occupational Therapy

Our registered occupational therapists treat orthopedic patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. Regaining the myriad skills necessary for day to day life is a crucial part of the recovery process. Our occupational therapy program helps residents develop, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.

Physical Therapy

Our registered physical therapists are movement experts who improve quality of life through prescribed exercise, hands-on care, and patient education. Each resident is examined individually, and is then prescribed a treatment plan to improve their mobility. Therapy can also help to reduce or manage pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
